The First RBS Graduates’ Employers Forum Held

On July 20, 2012, the first RBS Graduates’ Employers Forum opened in Run Run Shaw Conference Centre, Renmin University of China (hereafter referred to as ‘RUC’). At this forum, “ The First RBS Graduates’ Employers Award Ceremony (for employers of Class 2007 to 2011)” was staged to give out four grand awards, namely, the Employer with the Best Recruitment Behavior, the Employer with the Most Co-operative Manner, the Employer with the Highest Popularity among Graduates and the Employer with the Best Prospect of Growth.

On behalf of the university, Professor Rongsheng, Cai from the Admission and Career Guidance Office, RUC extended sincere gratitude to employers. He noted that the university paid close attention to admission of new students and employment of graduates. Professor Cai also shared new ideas to assist graduates in job-hunting and briefed the guests on RUC’s attempts to provide new career-guidance service. Professor Cai complimented RBS on its innovative effort to reward employers at a forum like this.

Associate Dean of RBS, Associate Professor Jinlan, Zhao followed Professor Cai to make a few remarks. She began by describing RBS as “a large school with a time-honored history, a rich tradition and exceptional strength”. She then looked back on the fast growth and remarkable advance of RBS in recent years. “We set up this forum to give back to the employers of our graduates.” said Professor Zhao, “Looking back, we are really grateful for their help. Looking ahead, we look forward to further in-depth co-operation to the benefit of both.”
 
At the forum, keynote speakers and RBS faculty members delivered speeches on topics like “Performance of New Employees and Measures to Improve It”, “The Best Management Style to Accommodate Typical Characteristics of Employees Born in the 80s and 90s”, “Improvements to MBA Programs at RBS”, etc.
