Dean of Yale School of Management Paid a Visit to RBS and Discussed Cooperation

　　Since its accession in April 2012 to the Global Network of Advanced Management (GNAM) launched by Yale School of Management, RBS has maintained close contact with its US ally. After consultations with member schools, Yale School of Management, the founding member of GNAM, decided to select a few GNAM member schools as partners for in-depth strategic cooperation and members of a core circle within GNAM. RBS is confirmed as one of these core partners.

　　From July 25 to 27, 2012, Professor Ted Snyder, Dean of Yale School of Management, and Professor David Bach, Senior Associate Dean of Yale School of Management, paid a visit to RBS and discussed further in-depth cooperation. Professor Yi Zhihong, Vice President of Renmin University of China and Dean of RBS, attended the meeting and participated in discussions.

　　During the meeting, issues to the concern of both parties were covered, they are as follows: case development and study, course developent and joint research, exchange of students and communication between faculties, study on Chinese enterprises, cooperation of EMBA programs, etc. On a number of issues consensus was reached. On joint case development, exchange and communication between faculties and exchange of MBA students especially, preliminary cooperation plan was worked out.

　　On the morning of July 27, Professor Ted Snyder, accompanied by Professor Yi Zhihong and Professor Jing Xin, Senior Associate Dean of RBS, paid a visit to the headquarters of Tencent Inc. and the Yongfeng Industry Base of AT&M International Trading Co. Ltd., both alumni of RBS. Professors exchanged views with the management teams of these two companies on industry development, company history and current development, the challenges brought by world economy and state policies, and the future development strategies, etc. Professors were also shown around offices and the R&D center.
