RBS Celebrates the 75th Anniversary of RUC

On October 3, 2012, a number of activities were held to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Renmin University of China (hereafter referred to as RUC). The theme of this year’s celebration was “Party into the Future”. At the invitation of RBS, alumni came back on the day to join in festivities put on by different departments. The anniversary provided an occasion for alumni to get together again after all these years since graduation and look back on their time at RUC and RBS. RBS faculty, admin staff and students worked together with the sense of mission and pride to put on these impressive festivities.

The activities were attended by the former President of RUC, Professor Baocheng Ji, Vice President of RUC and Dean of RBS, Professor Zhihong Yi, Associate Dean of RBS, Professor Xiangdong Liu, Associate Dean of RBS, Professor Jiye Mao, Associate Dean of RBS, Associate Professor Xiaoqiang Zhi, Associate Dean of RBS and Deputy Secretary of the RBS Party Committee, Associate Professor Jinlan Zhao and chairs and faculty from all departments of RBS. 40 RBS administrative staff and 300 students also volunteered to help with the activities.
