The Secretariat of the Educational Guidance Committee for the Master's Degree in Valuation recently appointed RBS as the chief member for compiling the Enterprise Value Assessment Program Syllabus.
As required by the Educational Guidance Committee for the Master's Degree in Valuation, on October 12, 2012, RBS held a seminar for the compilation of the syllabus and textbooks for the Enterprise Value Assessment program. The seminar gathered various ideas from experienced teachers of Enterprise Value Assessment courses, senior managers of large asset evaluation institutions, members of the Security Administration Committee, qualified experts on property assets from the Ministry of Finance, and guest researchers from the China Appraisal Society.
The specialists at the seminar noted that RBS is qualified to compile the program syllabus and expect that the new syllabus with combine theory with practice, and offer practical guidance for asset evaluation.
The participants exchanged views and opinions on the compilation principle and content of the Enterprise Value Assessment syllabus and textbooks. . The specialists pointed out that the textbook compilation must consider advanced international theories and leading-edge research achievements. Emphasis must be put on the development of students’ ability to problem solve and to master professional research trends. The content should also strengthen basic theoretical analysis and data information usage. The textbooks, as learning tools for enterprise value assessment, should not only be of use to asset appraisers, but also meet the needs of various industries through its practical applicability.
