On 18 September 2015, the First International Forum for China Financial Inclusion, themed “Good Finance, Good Society”, convened in Beijing International Convention Center. Under the guidance of China Banking Regulatory Commission, the event was hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC), China Banking Association (CBA), and China Micro-Credit Companies Association (CMCA), and co-organized by Center for Microfinance Initiatives & Networks of Renmin University of China (CMIN).
The keynote speakers included Ms. Wu Xiaoling, Vice Chairwoman of NPC Finance and Economic Committee; Mr. Zhou Mubing, Vice Chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission; Sir. Sherard Cowper-Coles KCMGLVO, Chairman of UK Financial Inclusion Commission; and Mr. Kosta Peric, Deputy Director of Financial Services for the Poor, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The forum opened with the welcome address by Professor Chen Yulu, RUC President and Co-Chair of CMIN Council.
