RBS Joins GMAC

Time:2013-01-18

Recently, RBS was invited to join the Graduate Management Admission Council or GMAC as its sixth member school from the Chinese mainland.

GMAC  is headquartered in the United State.  Its member schools are world-renowned schools of business and management. The GMAC-sponsored GMAT is the most well-known entrance examination in management education, accepted by over 2,000 schools of business and 4,600 management education programs around the world. In addition, GMAC also offers all member schools services such as management postgraduate recruitment information and career development training. Global and regional conferences are also held as exchange platforms for member schools.

Since 2009, RBS’s MBA Center has begun to use international mechanisms for admissions. GMAT results are required for application and evaluation of foreign applicants to the international MBA program. Chinese applicants who submit acceptable GMAT results will be directly entitled to an interview. RBS has begun to take full advantage of GMAC’s professional platform to keep up-to-date about changes in global management education. The School also engages in a number of GMAC’s research projects. The invitation to join GMAC recognizes RBS’s achievements in internatioanlization and management education.

Becoming a GMAC member is another milestone in RBS’ international engagement following EQUIS Accreditation in 2010, UNICON membership in 2011 and becoming one of the participating schools in Yale’s Master of Advanced Management (MAM) as of March 2012. As a GMAC member, RBS will be well informed about global management education trends and have more opportunities to communicate effectively with leading schools of business, increasing the School’s international cooperation efforts. By participating in GMAC’s meetings and training, RBS will improve staff competence and education quality, further integrating with international world-class busine
