Professor Zhi Xiaoqiang of Renmin Business School won the “Beijing Higher Education Prominent Teacher Award”

Recently, Beijing Municipal Education Commission announced the selection results of “the 17th Beijing Higher Education Prominent Teacher Award and the 5th Beijing Higher Education Young Prominent Teacher Award”. A total of 3 professors from Renmin University of China were awarded the “Beijing Municipal Prominent Teacher Award” and 2 professors were awarded the “Beijing Municipal Young Prominent Teacher Award”. Among them, Professor Zhi Xiaoqiang of Finance Department from RMBS was honored with the Prominent Teacher Award.

The award was organized by Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and evaluation was based on: school recommendation, on-site teaching observation and evaluation, review by expert group, voting by evaluation committee, and screening and publicity by Beijing Municipal Education Commission. This year, 70 teachers in Beijing won the “Prominent Teacher Award” and 69 teachers were awarded the “Young Prominent Teacher Award”.

The awards, as part of the “Teaching Quality Promotion and Teaching Reform Project in Higher Education”, encourages faculty development, enhances incentives, sets good examples, and motivates all the teachers to engage in teaching activities and talents cultivation.
