On Jaunary 3-6, 2013, RBS used the 2013 AEA Annual Meeting as an opportunity to recruit overseas talents in economics and management.
Prof. Yi Zhihong, vice-president of RUC and dean of RBS, made general arrangements for recruitment and pointed out that it was a good opportunity for RBS to raise its profile abroad and improve the internationalization of the School’s faculty.
The Human Resources Office of RBS made thorough preparations for the recruitment. After evaluating over 200 resumes, 34 applicants were invited for an interview at San Diego.
Recruitment
The recruitment took place in the United States from January 4-5. Vice-president Yi Zhihong interviewed the short list of potential recruits. She also stressed that RUC is always improving its recruitment system with favorable policies to attract more overseas talent to join RUC as part of the Business School’s internationalization goals.
RBS invited Prof. Deng Yongheng from the National University of Singapore, associate professor Yan Xuemin from the University of Missouri, assistant professor Bai Jinhui and Peter Wong from Georgetown University to assist in the interviews.
