RBS Hosted the Opening Seminar of the National Social Science Fund Major Project Entitled “How Global Balanced Growth Affects China’s Trade Frictions”

In the morning of May 28th 2010, the opening seminar of the National Social Science Fund major project entitled“How Global Balanced Growth Affects China’s Trade Frictions: policy making in reference to G20” led by Professor Gu Kejian from the RBS took place in the Mingde Business Building of the RUC.

Invited by the research team, experts from Peking University, Department of Trade in Services (Ministry of Commerce), University of International Business and Economics, Institute of Finance and Trade Economics (Chinese Academy of Social Sciences), Nankai University, Research Center for Multinationals and NDRC Institute of International Economic Research attended the seminar presided by the School’s vice dean Professor Mao Jiye.

The chief expert on the research team Professor Gu Kejian made a keynote speech, introducing the research background, objectives, structures, priorities, difficulties and innovations. It is generally agreed among the experts that the project is innovative and well-designed, which reveals theoretical and practical importance.
