RBS' EMBA Placed 43th in Financial Times' Global EMBA Ranking 2014

The Financial Times (FT) just released its latest ranking of global Executive MBA programs a couple of days ago. In this year’s ranking, RBS has climbed to the 43rd place overall, the first time the School joins the Top 50 league.


Established in 1999, the Financial Times ranking is regarded the world’s most long-standing and authoritative business education ranking system. The ranking of the Top 100 EMBA programs was launched in 2001. EMBA programs must meet strict criteria in order to be considered for the ranking, with respect to career progress, faculty diversity and innovation.

 

This year, RBS jumped 18 spots to the 43th place, making itself the highest riser among the participating schools. In particular, RBS was placed the 9th in the “Aims Achieved Rank”, which far exceeded its domestic peer schools. This was the first time that a Chinese business school scored a top 10 place in this area. This year’s success represented high acknowledgment from our EMBA alumni in the areas of program design, course delivery, operation management and teaching effectiveness.


The EMBA’s recent achievement received accolade from both the University’s and School’s leadership. Prof. Yi Zhihong, Vice President of RUC, congratulated RBS on this accomplishment, "With the deepening of globalization, the Chinese economy is rising rapidly and Chinese companies are playing more important roles in the international arena. At the same time, they are also faced with multiple opportunities and challenges.
