Renmin Business School Joins the Global Networkfor Advanced Management by Yale School of Management

　　On 26th and 27th April 2012, RBS Dean Yi Zhihong met other deans of top business schools from around the world in the US and attended the launch meeting and seminars of the Global Network for Advanced Management hosted by the Yale School of Management in New York and New Haven. Dean Yi Zhihong delivered welcome remarks entitled Globalization Challenges and Business Schools’ Missions on behalf of 21 member schools.

　　The Network includes institutions in both developed nations and emerging economies and will start a new pattern for effective interaction among business schools in the multi-polarized global economy. This pattern surely will produce business leaders with international perspectives for the emerging economies. Unlike the one-to-one cooperation between business schools, the Network connects faculty and students with their peers to exchange ideas, conduct research and foster leadership and enables the member schools to share resources among each other and establish bilateral and multilateral cooperation. The member schools will take advantage of the Network to share talent training experience, address major research issues, promote case development and on-site research, and invite excellent entrepreneurs to make speeches around the world.

　　The RBS has been in touch with the Yale School of Management since October 2011. The mutual cooperation on the basis of common values was officially started after Dean Ted Snyder of Yale School of Management visited the RBS in November 2011 and in March 2012.

　　On 26th April, deans and directors of the member schools discussed the challenges facing business leaders and business schools and the future development of business schools under the background of globalization during the round-table meeting.
