International Business Elites attend IMPM Collaboration Module at the EMBA Center

  On May 29, the participants in the International Master’s Program of Practicing Management started by Henry Mintzberg began their two-week module at the EMBA Center of RBS. The twenty participants are all in senior management positions in leading international companies and organizations including Credit Suisse, the International Committee of the Red Cross, Deutsche Lufthansa, LG, and Panasonic.

  During the module, participants interact with RBS’ leading scholars, senior management from well-known enterprises and students in RBS’ Chinese Masters in Practicing Management.  The module also includes site visits.

  This high-profile program has attracted coverage from national media including CCTV and Sina.com.  In an interview with CCTV*, Professor Yi Zhihong, the Dean of RBS, said, “Currently, with the world changing, and the rise and growth of businesses in India, China and other emerging economies, it is a good opportunity for the business schools in those countries. Renmin Business School has excellent teachers and professors who understand Chinese enterprises and Chinese practices. This is the third time that RBS has undertaken the teaching of the Collaboration Module for IMPM.  The program is receiving wider recognition, and IMPM is very satisfied with the level of education and service at RBS.”
One of the IMPM participants, Richard, a Director at Credit Suisse, noted that the IMPM program serves as a valuable window to different countries. “With the rapid development of their economies, China, India and Brazil will play more important roles in the future of the world economy. This opportunity to study in China will greatly benefit my future business career.”
