The Second Phase of the HillhouseElite--Bloomberg Lecture Series Held at RBS

On December 11, 2012, Bloomberg News, apartner of RUC Hillhouse Academy, held a financial lecture for Hillhouse students at the Winland International Business Center.

Firstly, Mr. EeChuan Ng made the first presentation on the history of Bloomberg News, introducing the main business services, achievements and current status of the organization. He expressed hope that Blooomberg and Hillhouse would continue to cooperate in the future.

Next, a representative from Bloomberg discussed current business development and global financial markets in terms of fixed income, commodities, investment banks and equity markets. The presentation extensively covered information on global government loans and currency markets, global bulk commodities (especially the raw material market), business processes of investment banks, global stock exchange and Bloomberg Industry applications in stock analysis. After the lecture, students asked questions on the core advantage of Bloomberg News, the global market faith in Greek sovereign debt, etc. which were all answered by Bloomberg News.
