Third GNAM Global Immersion Week Kicks Off

From March 3^rd to 7^th, the third GNAM (Global Network of Advanced Management) global immersion week program kicked off at RBS, which hosted an array of activities for MBA students from the U.S, Spain, Mexico, Japan and Korea.

During the first two days, RBS’ faculty, Prof. Wang Shuye from Department of Finance, Prof. Deng Ziliang from Department of General Management and Prof. Majid Ghorbani, delivered three seminars, which were China’s Financial Market, Multi-National Corporations in China and Strategic Management in China, respectively. Through their presentation, foreign students have shown great interests in the Chinese market and hoped to actively engage in the future development of China’s business.

RBS also organized corporate visits for the foreign students. The first stop was Tencent Video, one of China’s biggest and most used internet service providers, representing the height of China’s internet industry development. Mr. Sun Zhonghuai, Vice-president of Tencent, and the Strategic Development Director of Tencent Video showed the students around and introduced the company’s major businesses and growth mode of the recent 15 years. In the afternoon of March 4^th, students went to the factory of Mercedes-Benz located in south Beijing, where they experienced the world’s leading automatic line and delicate process management. Director of the Compliance Department, Mr. Stefan Schmitt, gave a detailed introduction about the management system of his department, which is regarded one of their key factors to success and has deeply impressed the visitors.
