Forum on "Building the Belt and Road Talent Chain and Cultivating Global Business Talent" Successfully Held

On January 3, 2025, the forum titled "Building the Belt and Road Talent Chain and Cultivating Global Business Talent" was held in Yiwu. The forum aimed to explore talent development and business cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Professor Gu Kejian from the Department of Trade Economics at Renmin University Business School (RMBS) delivered a keynote speech titled "Understanding the New International Trade Order: From the Perspective of Supply Chain Trade."

Gao Gang, Vice President of NIO, delivered a keynote speech titled "Corporate Governance of Chinese Enterprises expending abroad."

Professor Wu Wuqing, Director of EMBA Program and Professor of Accounting at RMBS, delivered a keynote speech titled "The Belt and Road Initiative and New Opportunities for Private Enterprises Expending Abroad."

Luo Xiang, Chairman of UN Global Leadership & ESG Programme, delivered a keynote speech titled "The Strategic Urgency and Intelligent Strategies for Integrating ESG into the Global Business Development of Chinese Enterprises."

Xu Xiang, Vice President of the China Association of Small and Medium Commercial Enterprises, delivered a keynote speech titled "Leveraging the Unique Advantages of Small and Medium Enterprises to Share the Opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative."

During the discussion on "Building the 'Belt and Road' and Cultivating Global Business Talent," all guests engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as corporate advantages and innovative practices, corporate governance and talent system development, and the symbiotic growth of local business environments and the private economy.

Renmin University of China establishes the Belt and Road International Business School, focusing on serving the major strategies of the Party and the state, spreading China's voice, and telling China's stories. The school aims to become a world-class business school in the digital economy, a top think tank for research on the new international economic and trade order, and a key destination for international students in China. It will support the upgrading of Chinese brands, empower Chinese enterprises to expand abroad, and drive the economic, trade, and talent development along the Belt and Road.
