Prof. Hsu Shihchun-led Delegation of CMA Visited RBS

On April 26, the delegation of Chinese Management Association (CMA) including ex-president Prof. Hsu Shih-chun, Prof. Liu Shui-shen, Chou I-heng and Prof. Chen Zhen-sui visited RBS. Vice-president of RUC Yi Zhihong, Vice-dean of RBS Mao Jiye and Vice-dean Zhi Xiaoqiang met with the guests. Prof. Zhou Tingrui from Marketing Department, director of International Accreditation Office Zhu Chunling and director of MBA center Jiang Jing were also present at the meeting.

Vice-president Yi Zhihong firstly expressed warm welcome to the delegation led by the famous management specialist Prof. Hsu Shihchun and then introduced RBS’s latest development. Vice-dean Mao Jiye briefly reviewed the process of how RBS won the world’s well-known management education accreditations by EQUIS and AACSB and the positive influence on school governance, faculty construction, development of teaching programs and international advances. Vice-dean Zhi Xiaoqiang took the example of SAIL reform to illustrate the pushing role of international accreditation for MBA education reform and innovation.

CMA is composed of the management specialists from both academic and business circles of Taiwan. ACCSB is affiliated to CMA, aiming to assist business schools in evaluation of academic research and talent development so as to foster qualified management specialists and improve quality of business school.

Prof. Hsu Shihchun together with other professors introduced ACCSB and spoke highly of RBS for its achievements in the two major international accreditations, expecting to cooperate with RBS for mutual improvement of management education.
