RBS Awarded Five-Year EQUIS Re-Accreditation

After a rigorous on-site assessment by EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) Peer Review Team in October 2013, RBS has been officially re-accredited for a period of five years, the maximum length for which EQUIS issues re-accreditation, by the EQUIS Awarding Body in its most recent meeting on February 4th.

EQUIS is an international system of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation for higher education institutions in management and business administration run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). It strives to raise the standard of management education worldwide.

To be accredited, institutions must demonstrate not only high quality in all dimensions of their activities, but also a high degree of internationalization. RBS obtained its three-year initial accreditation in December 2010. 

The Awarding Body took particular note of the quality of the School as reflected in its outstanding leadership, high quality students and alumni relations, excellent corporate links and growing international reputation and was greatly impressed with the significant progress made since its initial accreditation and the seriousness with which it has addressed its areas for improvement.
