RBS Successfully Awarded EQUIS Accreditation

The EQUIS Awarding Body convened on December 9th, 2010 in Brussels, Belgium and officially approved awarding the EQUIS Accreditation to the School of Business, Renmin University of China. In a letter to the Dean of RBS, Prof. YI Zhihong, Mr Julio Urgel, Director of the Quality Service Department of EFMD, extended his congratulations to the School on attaining the Accreditation.

After meticulous preparations, formation of the Self-Evaluation Report and alignment in multiple areas, we welcomed the EQUIS Peer Review Team in May. For the next three days, the Team conducted rigorous on-site reviews, with regard to the Governance and Strategy, Programs, Students, Faculty, Research and Development, Executive Education, Contribution to the Community, Resources and Administration, Corporate Connections and Internationalization of our School.

The Peer Review Team came to a conclusion that the School’s process management, quality of students and faculty and its resources have reached the international level of management education; particularly our development strategies. The Team also expressed their expectations for our School to further enhance internationalization and the utility of alumni resources.
