The Establishment of RBS’ Anhui Alumni Association

More than 200 RBS Anhui alumni attended a ceremony on Mar. 28 (Sat), 2015, which was held to mark the founding of the RBS Anhui Alumni Association and the unveiling of the Anhui Training Center of RBS’ EE (Executive Education) Program. Based on the principle of “Moving Forward by Mutual Support”, the Association aims at facilitating communication amongst the 1200 Anhui alumni and enhancing the connection and collaboration between alumni and their alma mater—RBS.

During the ceremony, RBS Associate Dean Huang Jiangming, former Vice Governor of the Anhui Province Song Ming (matriculated for Industrial Economics in 1954), and Zhou Xiaoxi, Vice Chair of RBS Alumni Association, expressed their sincere greetings to the newly founded Association.

A commission of the first organization members for the Association was announced during the ceremony, which consists of Chairman Wei Qiang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General Jin Yu, 3 honorary chairs, and 16 vice chairs. In his speech, Chairman Wei expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the ceremony, and emphasized that the Association will act as an excellent platform for socializing, communicating and establishing win-win cooperation among alumni.

Associate Dean Huang awarded the appointment certificate to Prof. Liu Gang, Director of EE Program’s Anhui Training Center. Prof. Liu reported his work-plan proposal for the Center and promised that the Center will educate students with abundant knowledge and management skills, embodying the rigorous teaching spirit and culture of RUC.
