On November 26 and 27, the 4th Annual Conference of China’s Human Resource Management (2011) was co-hosted by RBS and China’s Human Resource Theory and Practice Association. At the same time, the awarding ceremony for the 1st China Human Resource Management School Award was lively held as well.
Prof. Yi Zhihong, Dean of RBS, delivered an opening speech for the conference. She said that RUC has outstanding academic advantages and a long-standing history in human resource management. China’s Human Resource Theory and Practice Association, founded by RBS, is dedicated to building a platform to facilitate the communication and cooperation between human resource management practitioners and researchers, so as to select and share the best practices, promote theoretical and mode innovations and make contributions to the overall enhancement of China’s human resource management.
Prof. Peng Jianfeng from School of Labor and Human Resources shared ten observations of China’s human resource management of 2011. Prof. Huang Weiping, a famous economist and the former Dean of the School of Economics, delivered a speech titled Analysis on World and Chinese Macro-economies----A Review of 2011 and Outlook for 2012.
Prof. Zhang Kai, head of Department of Organization and Human Resources of RBS, hosted the awarding ceremony of the 1st China Human Resource Management School Award and announced the winners of “Best Practice Award”, “Person of the Year Award” and “Best Breakthrough Management Talent”. Associate Prof. Liu Dongming, director of the RBS EDP Center, Prof. Cheng Yanyuan from School of Labor and Human Resources and Mr. Zhou Yu from RBS delivered prizes for award-winning enterprises and individuals.
