MPAcc Program Accredited by Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants

　　On November 25, the MPAcc program of RBS is officially accredited by HKICPA. MPAcc students at RBS are entitled to attend the Qualification Programme of HKICPA free of charge and are eligible for the scholarship for QP exams.
　　After thorough document preparation and bilateral discussions,, we welcomed the HKICPA Review Team to conduct an on-site review on October 26. The Review Team spoke highly of our teaching quality, faculty team, teaching content and student quality, after attending the lecture, talking with students and faculty, reviewing exam papers and visiting the library and labs.
　　Applicants, upon completion of the QP of HKICPA, are eligible to be exempted from four tests of CICPA. In return, CICPA members can be exempted from three QP units of financial reporting, business finance and assurance service. People who complete the QP and pass the exam are eligible to be recognized as a Hong Kong certified accountant. Since there are mutual recognition agreements between HKICPA with CPA agencies in many other economies, Hong Kong CPA can register as CA in those countries, such as Australia, Canada, England, Wales, Ireland, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and South Africa. QP exam is now available in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Zhuhai.
　　The successful accreditation from HKICPA further pushes forward the internationalization of our MPAcc program.
