The MBM Program (Phase IV) Interviews Completed

Time:2012-11-12

November 3, 2012: The Masters’ Business Mentors (MBM) Program (Phase IV) interviews, the second stage after MBA students’ initial applications, are being held. In line with the project rules, the enterprise mentor must select out the competent applicants. Mentors may choose to interview prospective candidates at RBS, over the phone or at their companies. If there is no interview, the MBM system will directly match up a mentor and student.

For better communication with applicants, many mentors choose to conduct interviews at RBS. Mentors  can hold individual or group interview about  mentoring guidance, career plans, current areas of difficulty, and future opportunities and challenges. In addition to the face-to-face interview at RBS, many students also visit the mentor’s company for an interview so they can experience the working environment and particular corporate culture. The mentors who were unable to meet face-to-face conducted interviews with students on the phone.

A team from the Student’s Affairs Office of the MBA Center organized the preparations for the MBM (Phase IV) interviews from reception and sign-in, to interview room provisions and interview services. During the interviews, the MBA students were impressed by the mentors’ communication skills. After the interview, all the students are looking forward to more opportunities to contact their mentors and be exposed to practical experience in business and human relations for future career development.

The MBM program will soon begin as the interviews are completed.
