The Big Winner of 2015 China Top EMBA Rankings

On 1 December 2015, the fifth China Top EMBA Rankings List was unveiled by Manager, who had been granted the authority of biennial release since 2007. The most notable change this time was the significant rise of RBS from 7 to 5, the previous ranking of School of Management, Fudan University. It was the first time that RBS EMBA program hit the top five of Manager Rankings, and also was acknowledged as the big winner of this release.

In accordance with the international and Chinese practices, Manager undertook the national survey of EMBA programs, including thorough investigation of over 50 programs in Chinese or English. The survey was conducted from two aspects: business school and its EMBA students. The former was evaluated on program faculty, teaching management, curriculum setting, alumni network, international standard, student quality, brand power while the latter was on the individual improvement of knowledge, connections, brand equity, growth of enterprise and personal wealth, global vision and student satisfaction. Then the ranking list of top 20 EMBA programs was born from the comprehensive assessment, and also the annual best of curriculum innovation, internationalization and student satisfaction.

The China EMBA programs had gone through the unprecedented blast of strike in the past two years. Some succeeded in keeping safe and firm while some declined and barely made it through. Despite the great influence of policies on program enrollment, the three EMBA programs of the first echelon were found suffering little impact and take rather risky innovation and reform.
