The 3rd Frontiers of Business Research in China International Symposium, cohosted by Frontiers of Business Research in China (FBR), School of Business, Renmin University of China, and Higher Education Press, was held successfully on 20-21 June 2016 in Beijing. More than a hundred of scholars from 13 countries and regions attended the conference.
Professor Zhihong Yi, Vice President of Renmin University of China, made the opening speech to welcome symposium participants and invited guests. Professor Yi pointed out that research and international cooperation have been playing a very important role in seeking better solutions to economic and business management problems, especially when facing unsteady and challenging international and domestic environment. She emphasized that FBR and its annual symposiums have provided right and excellent venues for these efforts to both domestic and overseas’ scholars. The achievements of the FBR in the past decade were also esteemed by Professor Jiye Mao, Dean of School of Business, in his speech. He emphasized that FBR have become not only a show-case window of the School, but also an important platform for expressing and broadcasting Chinese scholars’ voices and ideas in business administration research to the rest of the world.
