RBS 2016 Commencement Exercise Held

In the morning of June 22nd, the RBS 2016 Commencement Exercise was held in Shiji Gymnasium of Renmin University of China. 1526 graduates of RBS, with their family members and friends (1020 in total), attended the exercise.

After the national anthem and flag-raising ceremony, Professor Yi Zhihong, the Vice President of RUC, and the Chair of Business-Agriculture-Forestry Economics & Management Department of the 9th Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of RUC, announced the RUC Resolution on Bachelor and Master Degree-Conferring. Afterwards, the committee members and supervisor representatives conferred degree for 2016 graduates in the sequence of bachelors, academic masters, professional masters (MPAcc, MIB, MV), EMBA, MBA, and equivalent education programs.

Zhou Mingde, the Chair of RBS Alumni Council, Master of Accounting (RBS 1985), and the Chair of Phoenix City Group, gave his speech as the delegate of RBS alumni. He dedicated congratulations to the 2016 graduates and welcome them to join the family of RBS alumni. RUC Alumni spirits include “Care”, “Union”, “Duty”, and “Reason”. He wished that the 2016 graduates would not give up on dreaming, challenging, sharing and social responsibility.

Professor Yang Du, the delegate of RBS faculty, gave his speech afterwards, in which, he expected the graduates to “stay hungry”, “stay alert”, and “keep the school motto in mind”.
