From April 24th to April 29th, the MBA program at RBS embarked on their first annual Business Study Tour in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is a special administration region, which encompasses features from both eastern and western cultures. The unique program allowed our MBA students to travel to Hong Kong to learn about its culture, history and economical development while also gaining perspectives on international business markets and company operations. Company visits, related cases studies, intriguing lectures and lecture reflections were arranged during the study tour.
Three distinguished professors with diverse backgrounds gave 5 lectures in total and we also visited three companies (AIA, Li & Fung, and The Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society) with different development tracks.
At the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, students enjoyed dinner with some of their EMBA alumni and faculty members of the MBA program.
The students also enjoyed a campus visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong. There, they learned about the history of the school and the life of Hong Kong students on campus.
A total of 26 MBA students from full-time, part-time, and International programs participated. Furthermore, two faculty members and two administrators coordinated the trip.
The study tour was extremely successful and received positive feedback from both our students and our
