RBS’s CMPM Wins Second Prize, Beijing Teaching Achievement Award

On October 16, 2012, the committee member meeting of the 7th RUC Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award convened to award RBS’s Chinese Practice Management Education---CMPM Design and Promotion first place for the RUC Teaching Achievement Award. This education program also won second place in the Beijing Teaching Achievement Awards on Dec. 3, 2012.

The development of the CMPM program was largely thanks to vice-president of RUC and head of RBS Prof. Yi Zhihong, vice-president of RBS Prof. Song Hua, vice-president of the Graduate School Prof. Song Yuanfang, Prof. Cheng Dong of the Department of General Management, and Prof. Feng Yunxia of the Department Organization and Human Resources. As of 2006, Prof. Yi Zhihong initiated reforms in RBS education administration and mode, holding that EMBA education should “return to the nature of education” and commencing the reform and innovation of EMBA education by designing the CMPM program. Prof. Song Yuanfang and Prof. Songhua also participated in the program as course director guiding the organization, designing of CMPM program. Unlike the program of other business school, CMPM program greatly improved and optimized the teaching process of EMBA.

Being proud of the unique feature in China’s EMBA education field, CMPM and EMBA of RBS have the advantage of new idea, innovative method and satisfied effect, which provide the new approach and practice for Chinese business administration education. In July 2012, RBS’s EMBA was awarded China’s Most Distinguished EMBA Program in The Survey on Business School Competitiveness in the 21st Century.
