On April 15th, the annual meeting of GNAM (Global Network for Advanced Management, started by Yale Management School) was held at the Business School of Renmin University in Beijing, on which specialists and scholars from 23 top business schools of the world were gathered to discuss topics including how to enhance communication and cooperation among Network member schools under the background of globalization, how to educate students with international perspectives and cross-cultural management capabilities, and where the future of business schools from emerging economies (as represented by China) lead to.

During the two-day meeting, the members were involved in a heated discussion about the Network’s development review, retrospection and outlook, management mechanisms, and joint efforts to develop case studies. Four sub-forums enabled multilateral exchanges among the member schools to share views on the following four topics -- the innovation of the mechanism of one-week overseas study tour, the global business classroom in the Internet era, the network of the global business schools, and the strength and weakness of international accreditation. On the afternoon of April 16th, some member school representatives took an on-site visit to 360buy and had an in-depth look at the operation of the famous local company in China.
