EDP Program for Senior Executives of Commercial Enterprises in Haidian District Officially Started

The opening ceremony of the EDP program for senior executives of commercial enterprises in Haidian District, Beijing was held,on December 30, 2009. The event was hosted by Wang Shuxia, director of Haidian District Commission of Commerce and attended by guests including Yi Zhi hong, Dean of the School of Business, Renmin University of China, Chen Shuang, deputy chief of Haidian District and Zhang Lijun, chairman of General Chamber of Commerce of Haidian District. 

Dean Yi Zhihong pointed out that the Department of Trade Economics of RBS boasts high status in China with close relations between senior professors and the circulation sector, a rich pool of excellent alumni in the circulation sector, and a number of key subjects undertaken for the Ministry of Commerce in recent years. RBS will ensure success of the program with the best faculty resources and administration capacity. It will also take the opportunity to organize relevant experts for case studies on new forms and models of the circulation industry in an effort to provide intellectual support for further development of commercial enterprises in Haidian District.

After the brief opening ceremony, Prof. Huang Guoxiong gave the first lecture of the program that was well received by program students---over 50 senior executives from more than 20 well-known commercial enterprises in Haidian District including Modern Plaza, ShuangAn Department Store, Suning and Chaoshifa..
