FBR Awarded Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China

On December 16, 2014, China Scientific Literature Evaluation and Measuring Research Center, China Academic Journals Electronic Publishing House, and Library of Tsinghua University jointly announced this year’s lists of the “Highest International Impact Academic Journals of China” and the “Excellent International Impact Academic Journals of China” in Beijing. The evaluation process and ranking were released in the “Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals (2014).” Frontiers of Business Research in China (FBR), co-published by School of Business Renmin University of China and Higher Education Press, was selected for “2014 Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China (Humanities and Social Sciences).”

The compilation of the “Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals” was initiated in 2012. It selects JCR source literature citation from Web of Science as the source of citation statistics. This year, over 14,400 journals of humanities and social sciences were assessed, out of which a total of 1238 journals, ranked by annual international non-self citation frequency, international non-self-cited impact factor and proportion of research article publications, were enrolled in the final list. The 1^st to the 60^th journals (Top 5%) of the final list were awarded "2014 Highest International Impact Academic Journals of China”; the 61^st to the 120^th journals (Top 5%-10%) were awarded “2014 Excellent International Impact Academic Journals of China.”
