The Teaching Achievement of Business School Won the Second Price of National Teaching Achievement Award in Higher Education (Undergraduate) 2022

Recently, The Ministry of Education released the list of awardees of the 2022 National Teaching Achievement Awards in Higher Education.  The teaching achievement project of Renmin University’s Business School, “Cultivating Business Management Talents that Best Understand China”, led by Ye Kangtao, Liu Xiaomei, Guo Hai, Wang Xiaodong, Xu Nianxing, Wu Jianghua, Zhang Min, Yao Jianming, Han Jidong, and Juehua, has won the second prize at the national level. This is the 9th time Renmin Business School has received a national teaching achievement award, and the 5th time to receive a national second prize.

Since the implementation of the credit system reform in the undergraduate program of the business school in 2018, significant breakthroughs have been made in both talent training philosophy and practice. The achievement has undergone 5 years of education and teaching practice evaluation and has made outstanding contributions in the fields of teaching reform and talent cultivation. Based on China’s leading digital economy practice, the achievement has summarized and formed a unique undergraduate talent cultivation model with practicality, internationalization, and innovation. It has led the innovation of high-quality talent cultivation models for business management in the digital economy era, produced profound demonstration effects on undergraduate education of business management across China, and provided a model and a prototype for cultivating new business talents in China.

The awarded teaching achievement is the new accumulation formed by long-term strengthening of undergraduate education and teaching research, and a continuous promotion of undergraduate education project reform and innovation. Based on the school and the college’s strategic guidance, the school will continue to explore new pathways for undergraduate education and strive for continuous innovation, building upon the existing teaching achievements.
