Forum on Case-Based and Qualitative Research in Business Administration in China Successfully Held

On 6 November, 2015 Forum on Case-Based and Qualitative Research in Business Administration in China, co-host by RBS and Management World and co-organized by Sun Yat-sun Business School and Chen Ruiqiu Asia-Pacific Center of Case Development and Research, had its opening ceremony in Sun Yat-sen Business School. Themed “Theory Framework of Corporate Management Under New Normal of Chinese Economy”, the forum was attended by over 400 scholars and doctoral students from nearly 130 academic institutes home and abroad.

On the Forum

Many famous Qualitative Researchers were invited to deliver keynote speeches and open workshops. Professor Mao Jiye, Dean of RBS, in his speech titled “The Latest Advance, Trend, and Challenge of Local Case Study”, contributed in-depth analysis on the progress, deficiency, and potential improvement of local case study and qualitative research, which is based on his engagement in the thesis assessment and reviews.

Research paper workshop was open in the afternoon of November 5th , the day before the official opening of the forum, inviting specialists in case study to offer detailed reviews on part of the contributed papers. Meanwhile, “Journal Recommendation Session” was reassumed this time, Management World, Quarterly Journal of Management, and Global Platform of China Cases are given respective introduction.
