RBS Young Volunteers Association in Action

                                                                                                      —Love and Care Pass on in the Silent World
On March 14, 2010, volunteers of the Young Volunteers Association of the RBS came to Aomei Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation Center at the Chaoyang District, Beijing and conducted the first voluntary artificial cochlear assistance activity of this semester.  

It is the first experience for many volunteers. With the help of teachers at the rehabilitation center, volunteers got their respective tasks, starting to draw pictures and play games with the children. Soon they were well accepted due to their meticulous care and patience.

Before the activity, the volunteers got a lot of books, periodicals and magazines, toys and new stationery goods for the children. They made active exchanges with the teachers at the rehabilitation center about the long-term services, which paved the way for future activities.

Aomei Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation Center is a special education and treatment institution for deaf-mute children, and has a good cooperative relationship with the Youth Volunteers Association of the RBS.
