2009 National Graduate Summer School Gets Started; Professor of Harvard University Gives the First Lesson

The opening ceremony of National Graduate Summer School (Enterprise Strategy and Finance Management) at was held at Renmin University of China on the morning of June 29. 100 students from 42 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China and etc. attended the ceremony.

Professor Peter Tufano of Harvard Business School (HBS) were very excited at giving lessons in the graduate summer school, and elaborated on the teaching assignment of this course. He hoped that all students cherish the valuable opportunity of interactions and discussions while engaged in classroom study.

After the opening ceremony, the two-week national graduate summer school officially began with HBS Professor Tufano’s lecture on “consumer finance”.  

2009 National Graduate Summer School is hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Natural Science Foundation, sponsored by Renmin University of China, and implemented by the School of Business, RUC. The theme of this summer school is “enterprise innovation strategy & frontier of financial theory in the context of globalization”.
