RMBS Joins C9+ Business School Alliance

On April 27, 2019, the launching ceremony of C9+ Business School Alliance was held at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. Renmin Business School is the only member school affiliated to a university with a focus on humanities and social sciences, representing the “+” in the name C9+.

According to Prof. Mao Jiye, dean of Renmin Business School, the alliance aims to cope with enormous challenges in domestic business education and advance the development of EMBA and DBA programs in China. “Renmin Business School, as the highest ranked institution for the business administration discipline in China, will take advantage of the strong expertise in humanities and social sciences of Renmin University of China and its pioneer status in management education to contribute to the growth of member schools and their peers."

 C9+ Business School Alliance was jointly established by 10 Chinese business schools, including Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, School of Management atFudan University, School of Management at Harbin Institute of Technology, Nanjing University Business School, School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, Antai College of Economics & Management at Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Management at Xi'an Jiaotong University, School of Management at Zhejiang University, School of Management at University of Science and Technology of China, and RenminBusiness School. Through close collaborations and interactions among its members, the alliance will host Deans' Conference to discuss challenges faced by Chinese business schools and explore solutions. This will forge a platform for the top management of business schools in China to communicate on the advancement of business education in China.
