The MBA team and undergraduate team from RBS won the first prize respectively in the final round of the 2nd PEAK TIME National Business Simulation Competition.

Six teams from RBS participated in the final round of PEAK TIME National Business Simulation Competition in Shanghai on April 1-3, 2010. Besides two excellent individual item prizes, they won the first prize and third prize in the competition among undergraduate teams and the first and second prize in the competition among MBA teams. The undergraduate champion will have the chance to attend the global PEAKTIME competition held in Latvia frp, the end of April to early May, while the MBA champion will be invited to visit Helsinki for exchanges.

PEAK TIME (www.peaktime.org) is one of the largest international business simulation competitions in Europe. It was founded by Stockholm School of Economics in 1999. All participants are required to complete a variety of tasks and solve the problems in real commercial activities with their own theoretical knowledge and analytical skills. The competition was originally intended to find entrepreneurial students with the most outstanding ability and wisdom in Baltic countries, to provide top enterprises with opportunities for having excellent management professionals. PEAK TIME develops rapidly and now has become a global event for exchanges and cooperation among the world’s top business schools. Over 1,200 students from 202 universities in 43 countries have attended the 2010 PEAK TIME.

The PEAK TIME National Business Simulation Competition lasted more than three months from December 2009 to April 4, 2010. The competition is divided into three phases: preliminary round, semi-final round and final round, with participants classified into undergraduate category and MBA category. All the ten teams of RBS (five MBA teams and 5 undergraduate teams) passed the preliminary round, and six teams successfully passed the semi-final round to enter the final round.
