RBS Held Orientation for International Students of 2016 Fall Semester

On 9 September 2016, RBS held orientation meeting for exchange students of 2016 fall semester at Room 204, Mingde Business Building. The orientation is organized by RBS International Relations Office, and assisted by International Exchange Department of Student Union. 70 exchange students from 15 countries and regions attended the orientation.

Meanwhile, the 2016 international freshmen (degree students), 12 in total, completed orientation steps like information input, online registration, course enrollment and welcome events sign-up at RBS International Relations Office under the guidance of buddy program.

Before the orientation meeting, exchange students were encouraged to talk freely with his or her neighbors and introduced them to the other students. They integrated in the hot spirit soon disregarding different cultural background.

The orientation started officially at 10:30 in the morning. Firstly, Xu Fan, the Director of RBS International Relations Office, gave warm welcome to all exchange students, and introduced School of Business, Renmin University of China in the aspect of school history, academic resource, and campus environment. Next, Xiao Yawen, the inbound exchange coordinator, explained in details of RBS exchange program, online course registration, and important notices during the exchange period.

After that, Fan Jiajia and Fan Yixiao introduced International Exchange Department of RBS Student Union, and the volunteer project, Buddy Program. International Exchange Department, subordinate to the RBS Student Union, help international students integrate into campus life and make friends with local Chinese students.
