Recently, leaders and faculty from Beijing Jiaotong University School of Economics and Management and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics School of Economics and Management visited RBS’ EMBA Program Center to exchange experience of offering EMBA program, who were warmly received by RBS Associate Dean Prof. Song Hua and Assistant to the Dean, EMBA Program Director Doctor Feng Yunxia.
Associate Dean Song Hua introduced the educational reform of RBS’ EMBA program during the past two years and stated that “RBS’ EMBA program is dedicated to training Chinese managerial talents as the backbone of the global economy and adhering to the very essence of education, aiming to provide senior executives and future business leaders for growing-type firms by promoting in the recent two years the SOAR (acronym for Science, Organization, Arts and Reflection) plan which centers on the integration of students’ thinking and action.”,. Associate Dean Song Hua also stressed the program’s standing mechanisms, including a teaching steering committee and a teaching reform team, which guarantee the efficient operation of the program and answered questions raised by the visitors in regard to their own management difficulties.
During the visit, Director Feng Yunxia also shared the education reform process, talent selection mechanism and management experience of the program center. She indicated that in management practices it is extremely important to find people with same mindset. All the staff highly recognize the School’s central philosophy, which ensures highly efficient team work. Meanwhile, through two years of structural reorganization, the current communication channel is very smooth resulting from the break of barriers between departments.
