Dean’s New Year Message

Dear teachers, students, alumni and friends,

At the turn of the year, I’m pleased to, on behalf of Renmin Business School, share with you our achievements over the past year in implementing the nation’s “Double First Class Initiative” (World-class Universities and First-class Disciplines):

We had a record-high number of publications in top-tier international journals.

Our academic programs made significant progress in innovation and talent training. We kept abreast of the advances in digitalization and taught students related thinking skills. We continued to offer more courses in English.

Our MBA and EE programs reported record-breaking figures.

The school was re-accredited by EQUIS for another five years and launched a five-year comprehensive action plan to enhance internationalization.

The school has also identified “digital transformation and organizational restructuring” as its research focus across all departments. In the context of the digital economy, we launched a number of related research projects and organized company visits in an effort to lead global business research and teaching.

I hope that the year 2019 also brought you achievements and happiness.

The year 2020 marks the school’s 70th anniversary. We are on track to becoming “a world-class business school as the expert in Chinese management”.
