SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Yuye Ding is a fifth-year PhD candidate in Accounting at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Business. Her research examines questions at the intersection of corporate governance, financial reporting, labor markets, and artificial intelligence. Her dissertation studies how the SEC’s mandatory clawback rule affects financial reporting, firm value, and CEO compensation. Her research on return-to-office mandates and AI sentiment in the labor market has received international attention, with coverage in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Washington Post, as well as references in proceedings before the U.S. House of Representatives and the UK Parliament. More broadly, she is interested in socially relevant and practically important questions at the intersection of employee well-being and firm governance.
