ABSTRACT:

Equilibrium is a fundamental economics concept that most accounting research papers are either explicitly or implicitly based on. We are going to discuss the concept and use several examples to learn how to apply the concept in accounting research. 

SHORT BIOGRAPHY:

Mei Feng is a professor of accounting at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interest includes management forecasts, analyst forecasts, accounting misstatement, and internal control over financial reporting. Her research has appeared in premier academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Management Science.
