On June 27-28, China Brands "the Belt and Road" High-Quality Development Conference and the Third Summit Forum Themed "Future through Innovation” were held in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province.
ZHOU Hanmin, Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), former Vice Chair of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA) and former Vice Chair of the 13th CPPCC Shanghai Committee; ZHI Xiaoqiang, Vice President of Renmin University of China; GAO Jin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yiwu Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor; ZHANG Jianming, former Executive Deputy Party Secretary of Renmin University of China and Executive Vice Chairman of the Education Foundation; and LIN Guijun, former Vice President of the University of International Business and Economics(UIBE) and Executive Dean of Academy of China Open Economy Studies, UIBE; and Nearly 400 participants, including renowned scholars, representatives from the business community, and heads of alumni associations from various regions, gathered to discuss strategies for the globalization of Chinese brands.During the session, ZHOU Hanmin delivered a presentation titled "Optimizing ESG Development Strategies for Chinese Enterprises 'Going Global'", JIN Canrong, Professor from School of International Studies of Renmin University of China, spoke on "New Characteristics of China-U.S. Relations"; LIN Guijun addressed "Challenges Faced by Chinese Enterprises in Africa"; and ZHANG Jin, Associate Dean of Renmin Business School, Renmin University of China, presented on "The Global Status and Future of Artificial Intelligence."
During the roundtable session, JIANG Jiafei, Deputy General Manager of Sanyi Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd.; JIANG Zhidong, General Manager of Fujian Zhengshantang Tea Co., Ltd.; LIU Yongjiang, Chairman of Beijing Health Guard Biotechnology Inc.; NI Shuangsheng, Chairman of Nanjing Yiwen Property Management Co., Ltd.; and JIN Xingcang, Chairman of Suzhou Jinji Food Co., Ltd., shared strategies and practices for adapting to environmental changes from the perspectives of equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, and traditional industries, drawing on their respective industry characteristics and extensive practical experience. The session was moderated by GU Kejian, Professor of the Department of Trade and Economics of Renmin Business School, Renmin University of China.

During the report session on the 28th, WU Xiaobo, Director of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Zhejiang University; SHAO Honghua, Vice Chairman of Global Wisdom Analytics and Vice President of Statistical Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China (SSFERTC); and ZHANG Qingfu, Vice President of Haier Smart Home's Overseas Platform, delivered presentations titled respectively: "Innovation-Driven Belt and Road Initiative: New Strategy during the New Phase", "Digital Intelligence Leading the Way: New Paths for Chinese Enterprises Going Global in the Era of New Globalization" and "Steady and Sustained Progress through Tapping into Global Market—Reflections on Haier’s Global Brand Building".
During the roundtable session, LIANG Hao, Co-founder and Greater China General Manager of Green Regeneration Technology Co., Ltd.; XIAO Li, Founder and CEO of Shanghai Wenyingtianxia Digital Technology Co., Ltd.; ZHAO Wende, President of Guizhou Zhanyun Liquor Co., Ltd.; LI Liang, General Manager of Xinbaochuan International Co., Ltd.; FAN Haibao, General Manager of Zhiheyilv Travel (Beijing) Co., Ltd.; and LI Junyan, MBA Program Alumna of Renmin Business School, shared practical insights drawn from their hands-on experience in global expansion across sectors such as biotechnology, technology product exports, cross-border e-commerce, and fin-tech. They exchanged views on product selection strategies, market positioning, and localized operations, analyzing the pathways for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas amid global changes. The session was moderated by ZHAO Daxuan, Associate Dean of Renmin Business School, Renmin University of China.
The "Future through Innovation" Summit Forum is a high-end academic event guided by Renmin Business School and organized by its EMBA Yangtze River Delta Alumni Association.
