31 October, Beijing — A delegation led by Lily Bi, President and CEO of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), visited Renmin Business School (RMBS), Renmin University of China.
Jingtao Yi, Dean of RMBS, and Zelin Zhang, Associate Dean of RMBS, hosted the meeting. The delegation included Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President of AACSB Asia Pacific and the Americas; Guodong Xu, Head of AACSB East Asia; and Xiaoyue Yang, Head of AACSB Membership Affairs. Also in attendance were Tu Xu, Director of International Relations of RMBS, and Yinping Wang, Executive Director of the International Relations Office of RMBS.

Jingtao Yi extended a warm welcome to Lily Bi and her delegation. He outlined the school’s development, internationalization strategy and future direction. Lily Bi reviewed AACSB’s evolution, current priorities and recent reforms, including the promotion of business education and research and the continuous improvement of accreditation standards.
The two parties discussed faculty-development mechanisms, governance reforms, and career pathways—measures taken in response to the 2023 AACSB on-site accreditation—and explored new avenues for collaboration. They agreed to expand communication channels and deepen multi-field cooperation to advance high-quality, innovative business education.

This visit has further enhanced mutual understanding between RMBS and AACSB, built consensus on issues of common concern, and laid a solid foundation for a closer cooperative relationship between the two parties in the future.
