14 November, Beijing – Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, President of North-South University (NSU) in Bangladesh, led a delegation to Renmin Business School (RMBS) to explore joint initiatives under the Belt and Road framework. The two parties discussed company visits, student exchanges, international study trips, and joint recruitment.
Fang Yuping, Deputy Secretary of RMBS’s Party Committee, Wu Wuqing, Associate Dean of the RUC Belt and Road International Business School, and Wang Zekai, Executive Director of the Global Social Enterprise Committee, attended the meeting. Also present were Xu Jingyue, Associate Professor of General Management, Wang Qiang, Associate Professor of the Department of Trade Economics, as well as teachers in charge of relevant programs at RMBS. Wang Jianying, Associate Professor of Accounting, chaired the session.

Fang noted that RMBS is “committed to contributing Chinese management wisdom and cultivating global leadership talent,” and looks forward to “multi-faceted cooperation that will serve the national Belt and Road strategy.”
Chowdhury noted that NSU, Bangladesh’s first private, non-profit university, hosts the country’s largest business school and, together with Yunnan University, set up South Asia’s first Confucius Institute in 2006. “We want to build a stable, long-term platform with RMBS to support Chinese firms investing in Bangladesh and to foster bilateral ties,” he added.
Wang Zekai called for a stable, long-term platform, while Wu Wuqing hoped the partnership could serve as a bridge for ministries of commerce and education in both countries, linking business and academia.
Liu Jingjing, Executive Director of RMBS EMBA Program Center, Chen Beibei from RMBS EE Program Center, and Wang Cui from RMBS MBA Program Center introduced their programs and intentions for cooperation.
The meeting marks a new, action-oriented phase in the relationship. Both schools agreed to pool educational resources, industry links and regional influence to deepen talent development, academic exchange and corporate outreach, strengthening China-Bangladesh business education cooperation.
