23 April, Beijing — A delegation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), led by Yuan Ding, Deputy Director of Quality Services and EQUIS, EFMD Asia Director, and Professor at CEIBS, visited Renmin Business School (RMBS), Renmin University of China.
Jingtao Yi, Dean of RMBS, and Zelin Zhang, Associate Dean of RMBS, hosted the meeting. The delegation included Serena Cui, EFMD Asia Manager. Also in attendance were Tu Xu, Director of International Relations, and Yinping Wang, Executive Director of the International Relations Office.
Jingtao Yi welcomed the delegation and expressed his gratitude for EFMD’s long-standing support and guidance. Zelin Zhang provided a systematic overview of the School’s development and internationalization strategy, highlighting its continued commitment to high-level global engagement.
Yuan Ding introduced EFMD’s recent priorities and reform initiatives, including updates to international accreditation standards and stronger engagement with business practice. He emphasized EFMD’s role in building a global platform for cooperation in management education and promoting the high-quality development of management education worldwide.
During the discussion, both parties held in-depth exchanges on future cooperation. They agreed to further expand communication channels and deepen collaboration across multiple areas, with a focus on strengthening EFMD’s engagement with Chinese business schools and enhancing member services. They also discussed expanding cooperation with European institutions and advancing the development and international dissemination of Chinese management cases, jointly promoting high-quality development and innovation in business administration education.
This visit enhanced mutual understanding, built consensus on future cooperation, and laid the foundation for a regular communication mechanism between RMBS and EFMD. It also provided a strong support for RMBS in further advancing its internationalization and promoting Chinese management wisdom to the world.
