Renmin Business School (RMBS) and TUM School of Management signed a student exchange agreement on October 19, opening up new overseas study opportunities for students at both schools.
The agreement draws on RMBS’s strengths in research on management practice in China and in business education and TUM School of Management’s distinctive focus on the integration of management with technology. Under the agreement, both schools will offer students a wider range of overseas study opportunities. Students will experience at first hand the educational philosophies, curricula and cultural environments of different countries and regions. Through cross-cultural exchange, they will broaden their international horizons and build their cross-cultural communication skills, capacity for innovation and overall competitiveness. The program aims to nurture versatile, globally minded talent equipped for the demands of a rapidly changing business world.

Professor Yi Jingtao, Dean of RMBS, and Professor Christoph Kaserer, Dean of TUM School of Management and a member of the RMBS International Advisory Committee, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective schools. Zhao Daxuan, Associate Dean of RMBS, attended the meeting, together with Kuang Weida, Director of the MBA Program Center, Xu Tu, Director of International Relations, and Wang Yangwen, Executive Director of the MBA Program Center.

At the meeting, the two schools reviewed the roll-out of the exchange program and the progress made so far, and held dedicated discussions on extending their cooperation to the MBA and the PhD levels.
The two schools will continue to deepen collaborations in curriculum development, academic seminars, faculty exchange and joint talent development. Together they will integrate high-quality business education resources from China and Germany, broaden and deepen international cooperation, and deliver more substantive results.
The signing opens a new chapter in the two schools’ cooperation on global business talent, and lays a solid foundation for closer student exchange and for extending collaboration into more areas. RMBS will continue to strengthen ties with leading business schools worldwide and open more international exchange channels for its students, giving them richer opportunities to learn and engage abroad. The goal is to nurture business talents with a global perspective, an innovative mindset and international competitiveness.
